14.30–16.30: Round table: Problems and challenges of academic entrepreneurship in South-Eastern Europe – crossing the research and policy perspectives (chair Ivan Tchalakov)

Key problems to discuss in the Round table include: Are there at all policy towards academic entrepreneurship in the countries in South-Eastern Europe? What are the indicators and data sources available to serve as basis for informed policy decision in the field? Governmental or institutional level policy towards academic entrepreneurship we need? To what extend the dismantling of large industrial organizations during the transition period eroded the policy towards academic spin-off? Are newly emerging corporate structures able to support entrepreneurial activities in academic community? What organizational and institutional changes we need to encourage academic entrepreneurs in the countries of South-Eastern Europe?
